My TMT report states, Fair Effort tolerance. Mild St T changes seen (~ 1mm) in inferiolateral leads at Peak exercise & which reverted near baseline in early recovery. Patient remained asymptomatic during test. Test is mild positive for provocable myocardial ischemia . What does this mean?
Hello, Thank you for using Healthcare Magic in such a situation. Positive TMT test for provocable myocardial ischaemia, although symptoms free during test, is suggestive of myocardial suffering due to insufficient blood supply in the setting of coronary arterie(s)' stenosis due to stable atheroschlerotic plaque(s). Further evaluation is recomended including Coronarography for stenosis assessment and treatment (if necessary). You should see a cardiologist. Hope this was helpful. If there is something else you need to know, please feel to te ask. Thank you. Dr. Juarda
